Feeling that we are “good enough”, worthy, important, and lovable, is a challenge for most. How is it that we all got here as infants perfect, whole, “good enough”, and filled with beauty and light…and then what goes wrong??

Most times we do not have caretakers who are able to channel that light (that we all got here with) for us. We begin to deduct, as children, that the criticisms, angers, and limitations of others are proof that we are unlovable, unworthy, not good enough, and unimportant.

These are the “BIG FAT LIES” that we go into the world collecting data on. Information that was never true from the start!

Working On Improving Your Self Esteem

Improving Self EsteemWorking on self esteem issues means dispelling those myths (“I’m not good enough, “I’m not loveable”, ” I’m not important”) and breaking dysfunctional generational patterns and fears of expressing love and intimacy. It is also imperative to Improving Self Esteem through counseling by listening to, honoring, and to challenge those voices of self hate. Those “shadow parts” of ourselves never do go away until they feel heard. Together, and with much guidance, encouragement, and love, you will be supported in releasing, forgiving and mastering the art of letting go of that old learning. Part of the process is replacing that outdated programming with a rich practice; laying the ground work and foundation of a more loving, compassionate relationship with yourself. This often resembles the relationship you longed for with a parent, but never had. As a goal, you can then learn to be that new parent to yourself. A “practice” is something that you get better and better at the more you do it. There is never a need to pressure yourself to be the perfect parent to yourself… there exists no perfect parent on this planet!

As a goal, this process of Self Esteem Therapy will help you to let go of old wounds, pain, fear, and anger, that you are holding onto in your cells. You will also begin learning the art of forgiveness, and to build a new, more loving, self compassionate practice with yourself that is based on a much higher frequency. All work is done on a cellular, psycho-spiritual level.
